A slight backward lean coupled with a spring coiled rocking mechanism makes for relaxing motion and comfort. This is an heirloom quality piece with lots of natural log detail and character built into each rocker. Seat and back cushions are zippered to allow for removal and cleaning. Recommend hand wash covers gently in warm water and hang to dry. Armrests are flattened for comfort and at a comfortable height. Rocker shows well from back if left exposed in room.
