Shipped with head and footboards fully assembled, siderails to be assembled on site with included bolt and plug package. Space between siderail and floor approximately 7". Comes with metal bed frame that fits inside log bed frame. The metal frame has center support which gives mattress and foundation the ultimate support while allowing for easy use of a bed skirt if so desired. Easy to assemble and comes with bolts, plugs, and instructions. Average bedposts are 5.5" in diameter. Dimensions shown are average overall measurements.
